The complex of tourist accommodations “O Kakos o Lykos”, is a traditional complex of four independent and fully equipped houses, which were built with respect to the local architectural tradition and using materials (stone and wood) to match the landscape.
It is located in Kostitsi Katsanochoria, a small village southeast of Ioannina, at an altitude of about 1000 m. Administratively, it belongs to the Municipality of North Tzoumerka. The village was first inhabited somewhere in the 17th century and to this day, it keeps the same name, with a small parenthesis in which it was called “Kallithea” (Good View), not by chance, since at a short distance from the village, there is the small church of Prophet Ilias with a beautiful view towards the Arachthos ravine, Tzoumerka and the pyramid-shaped peak of Strogoula (2100 m.).
The village today has managed to maintain its picturesqueness with its cobbled streets, threshing floors and of course its stone houses, in an area full of natural beauty which in recent years has been a magnet for all categories of tourists, as it has something for everyone.
If you like hiking, you can test your endurance on beautiful trails, or cycle through nature, and for the more adventurous there is rafting, mountain climbing and kayaking. All around there are villages that each have their own personality, where you can go to the local taverns to try delicious food and awesome tsipouro for the lovers.
